06 / Reconciliation

Compare contractor records.

Put your tickets beside prime, monitor, and subcontractor records, and record each decision.

Guides:Load ticket reconciliation Guide: reconciling load tickets

Why the records matter

Keep the evidence behind the number.

Storm work moves fast. Payment comes later. When your number does not match the prime, monitor, or subcontractor, JK FieldOps keeps the ticket, the comparison, the decision, and the supporting paperwork together so you can explain the difference.

01
What work did we actually do?

Open the ticket, production record, project, contractor, and supporting copy together.

02
Where do the records disagree?

Put contractor values side by side instead of rebuilding the comparison in separate spreadsheets.

03
What supports our number?

Open the ticket image, imported source, notes, and reconciliation decision from the same record.

04
What is still unsettled?

Follow recorded production, payments, deductions, and the amount that has not been settled yet.

Collecting tickets is only part of the job. Being able to back up the number is what matters.
Inside JK FieldOps

See the ticket. See where the numbers differ.

These are screenshots from the application, showing a haul disagreement and a tree-work ticket with its supporting document.

Selected areas from actual application screens with fictional records. Open either image to see the full screen.

80 yards on the ticket. 72 in the contractor’s record.

The comparison shows the company’s 80% load call and 80 CY beside the prime’s 72% and 72 CY. Open the full screenshot to see the source-file references and resolution controls.

Reconciliation

Find the difference. Open the evidence. Resolve the ticket.

Your haul ticket shows 80 yards. The contractor’s record shows 72. Put the figures side by side, open the ticket, check the load call, and record the correction. Use the same approach to check cut-ticket measurements.

To compare another party’s records, they must be entered in JK FieldOps or obtained and imported.

See where records disagree.

Compare haul yardage or cut-ticket measurements across the records you have.

Check what was submitted.

Open the ticket picture and source evidence to understand the difference.

Keep the decision with the ticket.

Accept a source, enter a correction, or leave a review note. Original imported records stay available.

Try it below: choose haul or cut work, open the sample ticket, then see the resolution example.

Oak Ridge Operations is the fictional organization. The subcontractor is Cedar Hauling for H-1042 and Northline Tree Crew for C-202.

Resolution actions in JK FieldOps
  • Accept a source — use the values from that record on the ticket.
  • Enter corrected ticket values — then Save correction & resolve.
  • Save review note — keep a note without resolving the issue.
  • Resolve without changing ticket — resolve the issue without editing the ticket.
  • Reopen issue — revisit a resolved ticket.

Resolving an issue records your decision. It does not change the original imported records.
